Hurricane Ike

While I was away, Ike made landfall and is now just a terrible memory.
In Texas, nearly, 2,000 people had to be rescued from the wreckage of their homes.

At least 18 people were killed as a result of Ike traveling across 10 states from Texas to Pennsylvania.
