2012 Hurricane Season

The 2012 Atlantic Hurricane Season is underway. Two storms (Alberto and Chris) formed in the Atlantic and went Northeast and did not have any impact on the U.S.

Tropical Storm Beryl made landfall here in Jacksonville, FL and caused some property damage and local flooding.

While I'm writing this, Tropical Storm Debby is remaining stationary in the Gulf of Mexico but is inundating Florida with heavy rains.

This morning (6/25/2012), I could not get out of my house due to local street flooding. The flood water came within 2 to 3 feet of the front doors of some of my neighbors houses.
